So in the wake of the Box office success of Aquaman and the presumed success of SHAZAM (those March 23 Fandango screening are doing awesome in the reviews) I've been really thinking about the past, current, and future direction of the DC Film Universe DCEU. As much as I enjoyed Zack Snyders DC Comics Movies I really feel like DC is more on the right track for a bright box office future creating a Film universe that is accessible to a much wider audience of movie goers. IF THE MOVIES DON'T DO WELL AT THE BOX OFFICE THEN WE WON'T GET ANY MORE FILMS. IF THEY ARE REALLY SUCCESSFUL THEN WE GET MORE. It's really that simple. So why not make movies that are more palatable and accessible to a wide audience, cultivating new lifelong fans as well as respecting the current ones.
