Up until now all My Thoughts On-videos have been about adventure games. But this video is going to be an exception to that rule. Because I also like survival horror games, especially Resident Evil. In this video I’m going to talk about an old school survival horror game that came out earlier this year, in August 2021, titled Tormented Souls. Developed by Dual Effect and Abstract Digital and published by PQube Limited. Tormented Souls intends to return the Survival Horror genre back to its classic roots, inspired by Resident Evil, Silent Hill and Alone in the Dark, while also trying to modernize the genre with its own twist on the fixed camera perspective.

But is that all? Does it have anything else to offer to stand out? Or does it rely too much on the mechanics and story elements of the 90s classics? My name is Siperos and these are my thoughts on Tormented Souls!
