My View on Jesus, as if you care.....
12I have many views on religion, but this book I randomly started really got it right in the first chapter. The Third Jesus by Deepak Chopra. Now, I am no new age buff, and Deepak is just another dude in my eyes, banking on well being. I don't even know where the book came from, but it landed in my lap at the right time.
But he got it right here; and explained my feelings well. I hope you will take the time to listen to the whole thing, the 3 Jesus idea is great, and sums up my thoughts.
There was a time I would laugh at Jesus and Christians out of my displeasure with the wars and hate caused by religion. But cooler heads prevail now, and I can respect all beliefs.
I do believe Jesus to be more than just an archetype, which I once considered. I am sure he was a great man, with great teachings. But like it says in the chapter....He was indeed a son of god..not THE son of god, but a son like we are all sons and daughters.
We can all attain Christ Consciousness through enlightenment...whatever that is. :)
