Note #1: My game suffers from a wrong pre-match render glitch.
Note #2: A pause in the stream = a poorly timed bathroom run. Apologies!
Note #3: I appreciate you guys' support. This is a really just a simple,
cheap way of getting these shows on tape for myself but thanks for hanging
out!
Last week on Nitro: Lex Luger delivered payback against Curt Hennig with an attack of his own, angered by his rival's actions from two weeks ago when Curt Hennig attacked “The Total Package” before their match, determined to hurt his opponent.
Tonight on Nitro: The WCW World Heavyweight Champion Goldberg '98 and “The Total Package” Lex Luger will go one on one in a blockbuster match featuring two of WCW's biggest titans. How will Luger fare just one week before his best friend Sting '99 takes on Goldberg for the WCW World Heavyweight Championship at Starrcade?

Kevin Nash comes to his hometown crowd of Detroit, Michigan and gives a rousing speech about how The Outsiders are going to Starrcade to showcase why they are the most dominant faction in the history of WCW. By capturing the WCW World Tag Team Championships, they will have indisputable proof that they are the best and their reign will showcase that they cannot be stopped.
Nash acknowledges that their opponents at Starrcade, The Wolf Pack are allies of The Outsiders but it's nothing personal. The Wolf Pack's Sting '98 interrupts Nash for a promo joust. “Big Sexy” reveals that he is right below Sting '98 in the WCW rankings for singles competition so he challenges Sting '98 to a one on one match right here tonight in Detroit to which Sting '98 accepts. Nash says that tonight he is going to overtake Sting '98 in the rankings and at Starrcade The Outsiders are going to take back their titles.

WWE RAW Superstar Seth Rollins crashes Nitro not too dissimilar to when The Outsiders crashed Nitro many years ago. He talks about the revelation that he was the one who burned down the Warehouse that contained countless historic items and artifacts. He did ti to make a statement. It's time to “be like no one” and burn down the past to build for the future and “The Architect” is here on Monday Nitro to do just that.
One of the items that prominently went up in flames was none other than the priceless robe of “The Nature Boy” Ric Flair '91. Flair immediately comes out and gets in Rollins' face. For Flair it wasn't about the burning of that particular robe. It was about what that act of arson represented. A brazen disrespect that Seth thinks will get him the spotlight that he desires. What Rollins fails to realize is that you don't tug on Superman's cape and you don't go pissing off “The Nature Boy”! A big challenge is made between the two and a match at Starrcade is set!
