my YouTube channel has lost access to "advanced" features ...
2To help YouTube community safe, YouTube is limiting some of my channels features ?!
Thanks for caring YouTube, thanks for making it safe but restricting and limiting me and viewers of this channel.
And of course, as always, they ask for something personal, like my ID info,...
So it's not enough for them to make ads revenue on my channel, without me seing any money of it, they now say they need my ID verification ?
And again, I don't have any proof that is it and once for all.
Tomorrow, they will ask for something else, or block me, ban me, delete my content on some other issue.
Maybe just because they don't like it or think it's violating something they didn't even defined earlier.
Like that "positive channel history" which can be defined and used in whatever ever way they want or suits them in specific moment.
But no big deal,...
So far, with all of the features I lost, the only problems I see are pinning comments, and linking.
Pin is not so big, or important to me, although I would like to have it.
But the linking is more important, again maybe not for me as a creator, but more for the viewers, community.
Because my channel is not monetised or sponsored, I don't make any $ on linking anything, I can live without it, who cares,...
But it is so funny how YouTube doesn't see it's viewers who will need to click on some links I post in description, to go to the content I am talking about.
And on the long run, if my content is good and links make sense, viewers will come back to my channel, which will help YouTube also, by making money on ads, etc.
So, as many times before, big companies are shooting themselves in foot, and don't see it.
Hungry for more money, never enough, they always try to put the pressure or cuts on creators and viewers.
