On November 17, 2017, Angry Demon Studio released Unforgiving: A Northern Hymn, set in a series of locations based on Swedish folklore. The game includes both terrible creatures of myth and the magic of Nordic mythology. The game is only available on a PC, distributed through Steam.

Controls in the game are fairly standard, with W, A, S, and D used to move, Shift to run, Ctrl to crouch, and Spacebar to jump. Additionally, E interacts with an object, R checks the matchbox, LMB extinguishes (drops) a match, and RMB lights a new match.

Taken by her brother Lukas to help her begin to overcome her addiction in an isolated cabin, Linn's effort to escape the car lead to its crash. Initially Linn and Lukas help each other work to find a way out of the forest in which they find themselves. Once they are separated by a wide, rapid river, Linn wishes her brother well and must find her own way out. What will become of the two teenagers? Let's play Unforgiving: A Northern Hymn and see.
