Mythic Legions Advent of Decay Boarrior Action figure review
Boarrior! Half man, half piggie. From the Advent of Decay series, i picked up Boarrior in the warehouse sale late into the series.
Beast figures are hard to come by, and Borrior fills in that slot very well. With his unique head sculpt, and torso with a tail attachment, Four Horsemen Studios really pushed forward for these great details on the figure.
But it still seems a bit lacking in certain departments. On the paint side of things, we have small patches of brown dirt on the figure, but they're very light and sporadic, hardly noticeable without directly looking for them. We have had other muddy figures before, so we know its possible, just the Boarrior got a very light coat.
Accessory wise, we do get three weapons, and a set of shoulder armor. No alternate heads, but that might be a lot to ask for such a unique sculpt. I would have preferred removeable head armor, or a articulated jaw.
Overall Boarrior is one of those figures you see and either pass, or fall in love. A pigman is a very unique figure to have, but he does suffer from the smaller dwarfs body's lack of articulation, and the dark paint job doesn't really make him stand out.
If filling in your ranks of demons, skeletons and orcs with pigmen, Boarrior is the way to go!
