Here in part 8, I mostly take care of things in the Creepy Castle. The reason why I was going everywhere to find all of the bananas was because I thought I needed all five hundred to fight the boss. It turned out that I just needed 400. After a bit of trial and error, I was able to defeat King Cut-Out.
