Na vrcholku Pico del Teide / At the summit of Pico del Teide
314.9.2012, zhruba 8:20 západoevropského letního času, 3718 metrů nad mořem. Nejvyšší bod ostrova Tenerife a Španělska vůbec. Teplota někde kolem 7-10 stupňů Celsia, ledový vichr, ve kterém vám dělá problémy stát, a všudypřítomný zápach zkažených vajec z okolních fumarol. Prsty jsme měli tak zmrzlé, že jsme měli problémy foťáky nejen obsluhovat, ale vůbec udržet. A přesto - naprosto jedinečný zážitek. Vřele doporučujeme.
September 14th 2012, around 8:20 WEST, 3718 meters above sea level. The highest point of the island of Tenerife and of whole Spain. Temperature around 7-10 degrees centigrade, ice-cold wind so strong you're struggling just to keep upright, and the ever-so-present smell of rotting eggs from the nearby fumaroles. Our fingers were so cold we had trouble not just operating the cameras, but in fact just holding them. And yet - a unique, once-in-a-lifetime experience. HIghly recommended.
