🇷🇺 Нафаня (Nafanya) ZX Spectrum Clone: Part 3 (Replacement Keyboard Plans) [TCE #0592]
I managed to get a much more stable video output signal, seeing the boot screen for the first time ... pretty cool! I replaced the dodgy ceramic capacitors (that were themselves replacements for the original, precious metal capacitors that were stripped for scrap) as well as adding a lot more decoupling capacitors on most of the ICs (there was allowance on the PCB for these).
I also decided that the keyboard isn't really worth salvaging ... of course, I'll keep all the parts but I've decided to design a replacement keyboard PCB using tactile switches so that the machine is usable. This will allow me to keep the original case & faceplate but have a much more responsive keyboard.
