If I had to list my 3 biggest priorities when it comes to a show, it’s definitely plot, character development, and music. Everything else could be just mediocre, and I’m sure the show would still be good if it meets those 3 requirements. With that in mind, Nagi No Asukara does a great job of all those 3, but weirdly enough the thing I loved the most about the anime (other than the music) was the setting. The world was so beautifully imagined and crafted that it really drew me in. Even now as I close my eyes, I can just imagine the majestic sea that defines the show. The art work really was something to admire.

And of course, music to go along with that beautiful world is the perfect combination. No other song fits the setting of world of Nagi No Asukara better than Heavenly Wind (Amatsu Kaze) in my opinion. It’s just such a wonderful piece that feels so carefree and light-hearted. I really enjoyed learning this one, and playing it. And I hope you do too!
