Nancy Drew: The Final Scene - Comparing the novel (1989) with the game (2001)
Hello! Thank you for watching my comparison video. In this recording, I examine the Nancy Drew Files novel #38, The Final Scene (published in 1989) and compare it with the computer game adaptation by HeR Interactive, #5 The Final Scene (released in 2001).
As you’ll observe, much of the story is the same between the two versions. The key characters and plot points remain unchanged. The PC game offers a secondary plot, which really drives the story and had me invested in the detective work on more than one level.
The book made for a superb computer game, and I’m so pleased HeR Interactive chose to make this story.
As always, thank you for watching! I hope you enjoy the information I have to share.
