NARC introduced players to the seamy side of life, where things go wrong. There are drug dealers and gun toting bad guys everywhere. It's your job to clean it up. Armed with a machine gun, rocket launcher, a helicopter, and a gun equipped sports car, you are out to punish the guilty.
NARC was really pushing the envelope with the violence and content in 1988. They even put up an unofficial FBI sign on the game. Not only was a lot of time and resources spent on developing the game, Williams threw a lot of money into the hardware as well. It had a much higher resolution monitor, lots of memory and the first 32 bit processor.

Midway Arcade Treasures 2 is the second collection of classic arcade games published by Midway for the GameCube, PlayStation 2, and Xbox. This compilation includes 20 games that were not in the 2003 release of Midway Arcade Treasures or the 2005 release of Midway Arcade Treasures 3.
The game plays similar on all three consoles; however, the Xbox version has the exclusive ability to upload scores to an online scoreboard. The special features on each version of the game are the same. These include game histories, developer interviews, and other documents.
