And now back to a cooperative Two-Man Squad, but this time in a series of survival matches.

Oh, and in case you were wondering, you can also play Time Attack and Score Attack in both Squad and Multi variants.

Remember how I pointed out that I was quite glad to see the increased rewards for simply playing this mode with another player? Well, I took that money and put it to good use by purchasing Kiba Inuzuka and Akatsuki member Kakuzu.

What you see here is my absolute first experiences using Kakuzu...which ordinarily is probably not a great idea, but like I said earlier, Survival is a great teacher...at least it is for me. I only chose to buy him instead of Hidan, who is also added to the shop on the same condition, because I really like to listen to Kakuzu speak.

I guess LAM also likes the way Kurenai plays. It's probably a matter of choosing characters one already knows a little bit about in order to have greater confidence in the outcome.

We only played one of these, not because they aren't also engaging and enjoyable, but because it's much more action-packed to have two battles going on at once...and well, we as human players have a greater advantage against the computer's inability to think laterally and strategically...so it's much easier to get further in those.

Well, I suppose it's also a factor in the level of engagement you feel if you're able to take the field at the same time and fight multiple foes together.
