Before starting the game, you might need to disable the 3D settings in Nvidia control panel. For AMD users, there are some options where you can remove the Anti aliasing ability from the gpu.
The slow motion happens mainly because of the console port and there are always graphic incompatibilities between the drivers. Updating the graphics driver might also help. Removing all graphics options from your PC will also help you to run the game faster. What really helped me with my AMD card was the AMD CCC (Catalyst Control Center) and if you have it, be sure to update it to the latest version, otherwise it won't work. Updating it made the game run faster during the storyline, but slower in combat, creating a balance.
Other methods are to upgrade your system. Since I have a 6770HD from AMD, which works totally perfect, there is no need to upgrade it. Be sure to check if you have a better or same card performance as mine.
