16,122The first half of December included a lot of really interesting launches from China, a landmark 24th booster flight for SpaceX, the 1000th launch of an R-7 rocket, Europe's Vega C returning to flight and India launching a European payload.
And all of those were less important than the news that the incoming named a NASA administrator.
And that somehow got lost in mainstream news because of 'drones' (not actually drones).
