NASA FDL and the @SETIInstitute have teamed up with Google Cloud to learn more about the universe.

Google Cloud partnered with researchers, offering mentorship, compute resources, and AI expertise to help them in the search for exoplanets—worlds that exist outside of our own solar system—and to better understand where intelligent life is waiting to be found.

Astrobiology involves making observations with telescopes about the molecules in the atmosphere of a planet and then extrapolating what kind of life could be out there. Google Cloud helps build simulations from this data, see patterns, and link up different ideas.
