At first, I thought this would be web-based, but then I realized how complex it is! View accurate 3D-models of satellites (and compare them to school buses!) You can also explore a huge number of planets with amazing satellite images.
Internet connection isn't required, although you need it if you want the most up-to-date data. You can also download Eyes on the Earth, Eyes on the Solar System and Eyes on Exoplanets separately from NASA's Eyes website.
