With Nationwide done, that just leaves the Sprint Cup for the very last restrictor plate setup video for the EA era of NASCAR games. And damn it ends on a real let down. Same setup as always but here it'll run 190 MPH and run at best 49.4 second laps. Which is literally no faster at all speed wise than Nationwide was and the lap time difference is so minimal that it could probably be chalked up to me just running a slightly smoother lap here than I did in my Nationwide test. The lap difference was less than 0.04 seconds. It's weird cause at Daytona there was atleast somewhat of a performance difference between Nationwide and Sprint. Nationwide cars were about 1 MPH and almost 2 tenths a lap slower there. The COT's on NASCAR 08 were just as fast as the one's on here without a setup. Without one the gen-5 cars would run another 3 seconds a lap and well over 10 MPH slower still so obviously the setup still improves it a lot atleast. My best lap of a 49.485 averages 193.51 MPH according to the average lap speed formula. All that's left to do now is the 2P speed comp tests for this game and I'll finally be done with this little series after starting it with NASCAR Thunder 2004 close to 5 years ago now. I'll try to get them up in the near future, hope to see you there.
