A couple years back now I posted my most up to date versions of my Daytona, Talladega, and Tiburon setups on here. Which improved both acceleration, top speed, and handling quite noticeably. For some reason I'm only "just now" getting around to seeing how much faster they now are with the 2 player speed comp effect. And by just now, I actually mean nearly 11 months ago towards the end of 2023 as I completely forgot I had ever recorded these until now, hence why the screen looks a bit different from my recent PS2 captures as I had some different settings on my capture card at the time. But I'm briefly reviving my NASCAR 2 Player Speed Comp Series to update the very first 2 entries that started this playlist in 2017. A series that I finally ended 2½ years ago after my NASCAR 09 entries.

I will not be doing an updated Tiburon video on here or any updated versions on NASCAR Thunder 2003 despite also posting updated setup videos on there as posting a faster lap and top speed with the 2P speed comp effect is proving to be much more challenging. And I have lots of other more important things to be working on. Starting with Daytona, my old record from 7 years ago now was a best lap of a 42.832 and a top speed of 221 MPH. And damn have I blown that out of the park now. With a new record of a 41.470 averaging 217.02 MPH, almost 7 full MPH faster average. With a new top speed of 227 MPH (365 KM/H). I'll be removing the outdated video from my playlist and replace it with the updated one, stay tuned for Talladega.
