Our favorite edgy-looking sword boy with a good heart from FE1 (yes, I know that sounds like a very specific set of criteria) is back, and rocking a dual-wielding moveset in Project M EX Remix.
Navarre's main draw (or two? Since he's drawing two swords) is his range, speed, and power. His moveset is pretty simple and straightforward, making him one of the easier characters to pick up and play in Project M EX Remix, especially for those already familiar with at least one other sword character.
He may be similar to the other sword characters here, but I'd say, if you can, give Navarre an honest chance. You might end up liking him the most out of them, you might not. You won't know if you don't try him.
REGARDING THE AUDIO ISSUE I BROUGHT UP:
Audacity kinda sucks for my Blue Yeti mic. There is no way around it. I need to start using OBS for voice recordings again, because I have several mic filters there to reduce noise, prevent peaking, and remove mic pops. Even when reducing my recording volume in Audacity for this episode, I still peak just as often, and it messes up my audio. As long as I remember to record my audio in OBS next time, my mic audio should be better in future recordings. Recording farther away from my mic when using Audacity helped a bit here, but it doesn't solve the issue enough. It does suck that this happened to my audio, but I'm still happy enough with my commentary in these videos to where I don't want to scrap it, and I'd rather move onto future projects at that point. It's not like the audio hiccups are that much of an issue to begin with, just something I'd preferably avoid entirely. I've seen creators with 100k+ subs have worse audio issues than me, honestly, so I'm not going to sweat it at that point.
Between Zelgius, Lyn, and Navarre, so far Navarre clocks in with the fastest Classic Mode clear. I believe this is due to more familiarity with how to clear the mode quickly, as well as his very strong and easy to use forward smash for clearing out enemies.
