The perplexing thing about the day one NBA 2K13 update for Wii U is that even though it makes you install this patch before you play the game, it doesn't bother to patch out the online service EA was pimping WITH this game when it came out, causing you a whole bunch of errors right at start up saying "the service is no longer supported."
