This is the final boss battle before the credits roll.

The Malevolynx is like all other giant bosses you've seen - his physical attacks hit the entire party. He also has a passive trait that allows him to randomly dispel all your buffs, and he will cast Bounce to reflect all your elemental magic spells.

Normal attacks are the best way to beat him, because of his Bounce, and high resistances to all physical spells like breaths. So a heavy-hitting monster with Double Trouble like the (Over)Killing Machine will be a great help.

Another good strategy would be bringing a strong 2-slot monster like the Gripevine, and a Metal King Slime (you get a free one for having 150+ species) as healer to keep it healthy. Liquid Metal Slime is also fine, but don't use the normal Metal Slime, though, since it has the annoying Yellow-Belly trait that can cause it to miss a turn.
