Necropolis - 10 - Level 7, we're getting there! Necropolis gameplay.

Level 7. Tier 3 weapons, tier 4 armor. Fully blessed. This is going well, maybe a little too well.

I have played through several characters now in Necropolis, never venturing past level 5, in order to farm up some tokens so we can play with some of the codexes available. I even had a chance to play some co-op with a few of you - sorry about the friendly fire! :(

Holy new weapons Batman! Here in my Necropolis, just bought this new Ilarnkek Longsword. But you know what I'm most proud of? Knowledge.

That's right, knowledge. The deeper into the Necropolis we go, the more gameplay I have under my belt, the more I'm beginning to understand and appreciate the complexities of this game. There are actually some really interesting and subtle mechanics to uncover! For example, enemy strengths and weaknesses really begin to show themselves when you can compare swords to clubs, fire elemental damage to ice, etc.

Also, the different level objectives such as destroy Grine crystals or extinguish the Inugami teach you the names of the various enemies.

I know Necropolis has been heavily datamined and most of the information is now known to the community, but I'm having fun playing this game only with the knowledge I've gained from my own gameplay as well as the tips and tricks you all share in the comments. Keep it coming!

We are still on patch 1.02 of Necropolis and I am excited to see what else Harebrained Schemes has in store for their awesome dungeon-delving rogue-like game!
