Gameplay video and build tutorial of Paul Walker's (Brian O'Connor) Mitsubishi Eclipse featured in the film The Fast & The Furious. This particular vehicle has become an icon for fans of the series since its release in 2001. The Supra is renowned for its bright green paintwork and underglow, unique blue/white bird tear graphic, and dynamic aero bodykit around the vehicle.

Please note: I know this isn't a Mitsubishi Eclipse. There isn't one in Need for Speed. I created this design on a Toyota Supra because I felt it was the closest car to the Eclipse (in terms of body style, appearance etc). There is no reason to remind me of this in the comments. The video is annotated explaining this as well.

I am not claiming this is a 100% perfect replica of the design. Due to the complexity and time, it isn't the most accurate tutorial available. It does provide a good foundation to improve on, but all things considered, I do think it is well done, and is easily made for beginners or people who don't have a lot of time on their hands.

Most YouTube tutorials of this build are incredibly detailed - but because of this the content bar fills up very quickly on one side - prohibiting any graphics on the opposite side of the vehicle. This isn't good for people that want the full design. My tutorial makes the design a little less complex, and lets you copy directly across to the other side. This video was recorded in real time, with minimal editing, so you will be able to follow along easily. It has been sped up very slightly to reduce the overall time, however, so I can only apologise. I hope you enjoy it!

As with all tutorials, try to see this as more of a guide than a strict process - no one's work is perfect! You're bound to see flaws in my design, or find faster ways of creating something - so if that happens, do your own thing! The beauty of experimentation is you find results that please you more than any one else's design would. Heck, you might even end up creating a better design than you would have if you'd followed this tutorial exactly.
