Skuller returned back to Palmont City and he remembered the flashback in the past after he got married to Pokey. He raced with the 3 racers on that night. While he was driving to the finish, the cops EMP-ed the racers except for Skuller who drove the Toyota Supra and it caused the police ambush. Nikki (their daughter) tried to escape with the money but she couldn't make it as the bag put it inside of his car and he escaped without her. After escaping, he checked on the bag and it was just papers. This moment made Skuller felt something's not right and he must find out who caused the ambush. Back to present day, Skuller was being chased by the Bounty Hunter, Cross (formerly a Sergeant) on the canyon. However, when Skuller was being chased, he got cornered until Pokey's M3 GTR got totaled. He apologized to her and she said that there's nothing to worried about that BMW when she still had her Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren (as seen on NFS Most Wanted (2005)). So, Skuller chose Mazda RX-8 and Nikki teached him the 3 different types of roles, Blocker, Drafter, and Scout. After he learned about the roles, he teamed up with his wingman, Neville. He met him at the safe house after getting chased by the police and the first territory that they went to take over was Downtown, Bushido's territory. He and Neville got encountered by the boss of Bushido, Kenji. He said that Skuller back in town and he wanted him to be disappeared. After took over 2 districts, he and Neville encountered him again and he made fun of Skuller's RX-8 until he tried to prove him wrong about his RX-8. After Skuller and the Skullsters took over Downtown, Kenji called him to race one-on-one at North Road and the canyon at Lookout Point. Skuller beat him as he proved Kenji wrong, he told him that nobody makes fun of his ride and never underestimate your opponent. As Skullsters owned Downtown, he got call from Yumi to find the new crew after the downfall of Bushido. Later, Nikki called Skuller that there is a race war going on at Downtown. He raced there alone and won it. His journey with his crew continues to Kempton, 21st Street Crew's territory. The tuners will equally match to the muscle cars as Skuller believed in himself.
