Need For Speed Carbon (PS3) - Part #32 // Silverton - Darius Rival Challenge
1Episode 32 // Career // Silverton (Tier 3) // Stacked Deck Rival Challenge
For the final part of the career we get to challenge Darius and the rest of the Stacked Deck crew for control of Silverton. The first three races of this challenge are not really any more difficult then other races we have seen in Silverton. But that final Canyon Duel... Jeez that one is a bit tough. While the video doesn't show it I spend about 30 minutes failing the duel in various forms before I settled on the strategy of getting ahead as soon as possible and hope I can stay there for the 10 seconds. This strategy has its downsides too, as Darius' car weighs about 10 billion tons and will punt you off course very easily.
Anyways, we still have some reward card grinding in the career mode to do before we move onto the Challenge Series. I should mention that I own the PS2 version of the game as well, and may someday tackle the career in that version in another car class.
Note: I will post the credits at the end of the playthrough as a separate video, as I have done in all recent playthroughs.
