Playthrough of Need For Speed: High Stakes for the PS1. Its my favorite NFS game for the PS1 era. For the first tournament, its highly recommended you start with the BMW Z3 as another tournament will require it. The BMWs of this game have unique car assists and on the Z3, you can enable the ASC+T which is a Automatic Stability Control alongside Traction Control while also having a unique ABS. This makes the car even easier then it already is to control while giving it a very quick launch. Usually in other games Traction Control has a downside of making you slower, in this game however its purely the opposite so no reason not to enable it.
