Tips: Roadblock can stop a racer from causing much damage during the pursuit. The roadblock will contain Ford Mustangs and Porsche Cayenne Turbos (while your Roadblock is upgraded at LV2 and LV3). Try not to crash if a racer hits the Roadblock, especially if a racer crashes, you'll easily bust a racer. You can hit through the barricade in case a racer avoids the Roadblock otherwise, you will take damage when bypassing the barricade. Sometimes if you call to use Roadblock, placing near the shortcut, the racers can drive through the shortcuts which will miss to bypass. Call the Roadblock to stop the racer wisely.
This is the Remastered version of Need for Speed Hot Pursuit where you can get a visual glimpse of graphics at max settings, HUD improvement, and this game has new features including crossplay in Multiplayer mode as you can enjoy playing with online players on their consoles. Livery Editor is also new, that you'll make liveries in the game, but you can't share your liveries to Community worldwide allowing players to add to their collection rather than in other NFS games like 2015, Payback, Heat, and Unbound. That means you had to build a livery of your own.
This game was originally released back in November 2010 and published by Electronic Arts with Criterion Games developed with Burnout games. The Remastered version was released in November 2020 for the NFS players to return to the chase in Hot Pursuit covering new features, but the contents are different for the following reasons; There is no Carbon Motors E7, SLR McLaren, and Polizia livery for Lamborghini Gallardo Cop Car due to licensing issue.
All DLC Contents are now carried over and you'll no longer buy DLC Packs in Remastered version, meaning you can unlock the cars by earning bounties via leveling up your Rank.
