Need for Speed Most Wanted 2005 vs ThrustMaster T500RS vs T3PA-PRO
Well, friends! I've been wanting to try this video format for a long time and finally decided to record it in everyone's favorite game from 20 years ago - Need for Speed Most Wanted 2005! I remember how I used to play it with the guys on the Internet and a local network, about 15 years ago, before Need for Speed World Online was released. A lot of water has flowed under the bridge since then, BUT, it's no secret that I periodically test all sorts of different steering wheels and other devices. And for a long time now I've been dreaming about the legendary steering wheel from ThrustMaster T500RS complete with T3PA-PRO pedals (inverted, like in a real car), and in January of this year I got this device, and now it's time to test it. When it first went on sale, I was sure it was just the top of the line from ThrustMaster, because when I saw that the paddle shifters were on the base and they DO NOT SPIN WITH THE STEERING WHEEL during racing, BUT it was not possible to buy it - either it was sold at a very high price, or in some satisfactory condition, etc., etc.))) Its original steering wheel weighs 1010 grams and is 30 cm in diameter - a very comfortable round thing))) Using an adapter, I installed an OMP replica drift steering wheel on the base, covered in Alcantara, with a diameter of 35 cm and a 9 cm extension))) In general, what can I say about this steering wheel in 2025? Morally and technically, it is, of course, outdated, BUT against the background of the Logitech G25 / G27 / G29 / G920 / G923 - it is certainly the TOP. At some point it seemed to me that the T500RS is more powerful than my favorite ThrustMaster TS-XW Racer Sparco P310 Competition Mode base, which has 6.4 Nm of force (and this is much more powerful than the MOZA R5 with its 5.5 Nm - I TESTED IT - I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT FOR BUYING - YOU WILL BURN OUT QUICKLY TO IT. IT IS WEAK + THE STEERING WHEEL WEIGHS 1300+ grams) They write on the Internet that the T500RS has 4.4 Nm))) Honestly - I still don't understand))) I once tested the T300RS GT Edition and T300 Alcantara Edition - there they have an honest 3.5 - 3.9 Nm - THE STEERING WHEELS ARE VERY WEAK COMPARED TO THE T500RS, as they write on the Internet))) In general, a lot of letters, like always)))
