Need For Speed Nitro (Wii) | Random Races #1
Developed by EA Montreal and published by Electronic Arts in 2009, it's Need For Speed Nitro on the Nintendo Wii. It's also available for the DS under the name "Need for Speed Nitro-X", which was developed by Firebrand Games.
NFS Nitro is heavily emphasized as a fast and furious arcade racer with 30 souped-up licensed supercars, muscle cars, and city vehicles. There are numerous tracks across Rio de Janeiro, Cairo, Madrid, Singapore, and Dubai (San Diego is included in the DS version).
The game has an aesthetic feature called "Own It"; while a player is in the lead, the surrounding landscape and buildings are textured with their car's colors, graffiti, and tags, all of which can be created with the game's new car customization system. Lines on the road will also have the color of the car colors. The "Own it" feature is a neat way to indicate the race leader, and players get additional style points for staying in first place. So stay in first while trying outrun the cops in the circuit races against seven other AI opponents. Along with the Career mode, there is also Team Circuit, Elimination, Drift, Speed Trap, Drag Race, and Time Attack modes.
Here is the first Random Races video of Need For Speed Nitro on the Nintendo Wii. Enjoy!
