Speed Recovery: Below Average
Handling: Very manageable, very stable while drifting, doesn't get to wide angles quickly like other hypercars, an issue I found when running at Hyperspace Circuit. It's steering is very direct, but not as direct as the R8 V10 Plus. The chief issue with the P1 is the lack of speed recovery exiting corners. For example, when drifting around the hairpin turn at Hyperspace, usually cars with 7 gears with good speed recovery, I shift down to gear 6 while executing the drift. Then when I exit, the car recovers its speed right then and there. In this, I have to shift down to gear 5 then return to gear 6 before hitting gear 7 on the back straight.
Conclusion: No question, the P1 is seriously fast, but I fear as if that 918 Spyder, all-wheel drive and all, is probably faster.
