This is and incredible, for a 2005 console, Need for Speed Shift with unlocked framerate on a real Xbox 360 using new settings compared to the previous version I've uploaded. It reaches 60 fps as peak. I spent some time playing it on my linving room TV and it was amazing, even if it looses something due to the Youtube compression.
IMPORTANT: I HAVE DISABLED THE HUD OR SET IT TO "LITE" in the game to gain all the framerate the console can give.
Note I've hidden the hud or set it to lite to increase the framerate.

To get the unlocked framerate you have to (my version has Media ID 60DAC9C5):
1. You need a RGH modded Xbox 360 (actually, I haven't tried on a retail Xbox 360 with this game installed. Perhaps with software like Horizon it should be possibile insert the modded xex)
2. Take the defaul.xex in your Need for Speed: Shift folder on the xbox 360, copy and paste it in your PC to uncompress/decrypt it with xextool (follow my tutorial for the decrypting/uncompressing part, here https://youtu.be/W26KD-mntEY)
3. Open the decrypted/uncompressed file in HxD

For the original default.xex, without any Title Update (TU), search for this location (CTRL+G):
Go to 3A89B8 (823a49b8 in absolute values), and change the 81 7F 35 1C to 39 60 00 01
Go to 3A89F4 (823a49f4 in absolute values), and change the 39 60 00 01 to 39 60 00 00
Go to 3A8A80 (823a4a80 in absolute values), and change the 39 6b 00 04 to 39 6b 00 00

If you wish, add also this one below, it should increase the framerate a bit. Since I don't remember exactly the one that increase the framerate, set all of the C0 23 04 to 60 00 00 00 (so search for all C0 23 04, despite the other two digits, and change them to 60 00 00 00):
F89F4C (82F85F4C in absolute values)
F8A168 (82F86168 in absolute values)
F8A618 (82F86618 in absolute values) and so on for all the c0 23 04 you find in HxD (in total there are 15 addresses)


For the TU3 default.xex, search for this location (CTRL+G):
Go to 3B3C70 (823AFC70 in absolute values), and change the 81 7F 35 1C to 39 60 00 01
Go to 3B3CAC (823AFCAC in absolute values), and change the 39 60 00 01 to 39 60 00 00
Go to 3B3D38 (823AFD38 in absolute values), and change the 39 6b 00 04 to 39 6b 00 00
Set also all of the C0 23 04 to 60 00 00 00 (so search for all C0 23 04, despite the other two digits, and change them to 60 00 00 00):
FAFEA4 (82FABEA4 in absolute values)
FB00C0 (82FAC0C0 in absolute values) and so on for all the c0 23 04 you find in HxD (in total there are 15 addresses).

NOTE: if you don't find it, be sure you have selected "hexadecimal values" in the research window and you don't have a title updated (TU) game or another region game (ex. PAL/NTSC or Media ID). In that case, search for this values. The values to change are in the beginning of each string.

5. Save the file as you prefer (eg. NFSShift_unlocked.xex)
6. Copy this file in your folder on the Xbox 360, then start it by file manager or rename in default.xex (after renamed the original one) to start it from the cover in your dashboard
REMEMBER to disable the HUD or set it to "lite" in the game to gains frames.
