Need For Speed Unbound - The Story Behind the Style
0The latest title in the Need for Speed franchise is Need for Speed Unbound, which releases to the public on Friday 2nd December. Those who pre-ordered the Palace Edition of the game have been able to get into Lakeshore since Tuesday, 29th November, and so far, there’s a lot to be impressed with.
After nine years of Need for Speed games underneath Ghost Games, EA has thrown the keys back over to Criterion Games, the developers of the Hot Pursuit and Most Wanted titles, for their new Unbound entry.
We were lucky enough to speak with the Creative Director, Kieran Crimmins, as he talks about how Need for Speed Unbound has come to be an incredibly innovative and creative racing game. With a radically different art style to any racing game in the genre, it’s unlike anything we’ve seen before.
