To make it work you need 75 or more FPS.
Recommended with manual transmission, auto might get stuck without widescreen patch.
It works with stock cars too, but you need to upgrade the transmission to extreme package or level 3.
Easiest method is stopping in 1st gear, then accelerate. Shift when the RPM gets stuck.
While driving you need at least 2nd gear, then tap accelerate at the correct RPM. When the needle jumps, hold down the acceleration button. then shift before the effect disappears.
The correct RPM should be: rev limiter - 3k
