30The Peugeot 308 R HYbrid would've solved the weight issue for Performance hybrids had Peugeot actually put it into production. Why? We're talking about a 4-cylinder turbocharged hatchback with 270 horsepower and two 114 horsepower electric motors: one on the front axle and one on the rear axle. The result? A 500 horsepower All-Wheel Drive hot hatch that will hit 60 MPH from a standstill quicker than most supercars and weighs just 2 lbs. more than a 992 GT3. So, here's a thought: is this French performance hybrid hatchback better than a high performance track-oriented 911? Let's find out!
