The boss does four basic attack patterns, but the strategy to deal with each one varies depending on your location. All mechanics should begin and end with you at the bottom of either side, and never on the floating platforms.

The hardest mechanic to deal with is the swirl AOE, so let's focus on that first. Depending on your position, and which direction the swirl is going, there are two possible ways to deal with this. Either dash from one side to the next (to avoid the spikes), and triple jump up to avoid the rest of the attacks, or you jump immediately to the floating platform and triple jump over the boss to the other side. Timing is super critical here, and it is just as easy to begin your dodge maneuver too early as it is to begin too late. This part will require some practice.

The other two boss attacks simply require patience. Prioritize dodging from the platform that you are on, and never force an attack at the expense of dodging properly.

Note: you regenerate 10 MP per successful attack, and the cost for the stronger sword spell is 30 MP. Therefore, every three successful attacks, you can (and should) use your sword spell.
