Filip Kubski, (born June 15, 1987) better known as NEO, is a Polish player of the Counter-Strike series who a AWPer and Rifler for Virtus.pro. NEO is considered one of the best players in Counter-Strike history[1] and one of the "Golden Five" group of Polish CS players who won many tournaments with a number of different esports teams. He has also played for AGAiN, Universal Soldiers, ESC Gaming, Frag eXecutors, Vitriolic, Wicked eSports, Meet Your Makers, and Pentagram G-Shock. Kubski has been playing professionally since 2004.
In addition to being a great aimer and highly intelligent player, Kubski is also highly regarded for his mastery of Counter-Strike 1.6's in-game movement. His ability to perform difficult movements and access areas of maps that are unreachable by most] make him unpredictable and difficult to counter. In 2010, HLTV.org users voted Kubski the best Counter-Strike player of the previous decade. He also won the eSports Award for eSports Player of the Year in 2007 and 2008, and was rated by HLTV.org as the best player of 2011.
