NEO The World Ends with You - Final Time Trial Ultimate [11'36"82]
14Spoiler warning. Pins/threads at the end. Rough notes in the description. I keep wanting to shorthand this as FTA but it's FTT now. Either way Final Time Trial is the post game boss rush like Final Time Attack in the previous game. I did it at Lv. 100 instead of 1 since the extra HP lets me be a moron.
This is far from optimized but I think it's decent enough for a week 2 run. The can of worms that is being able to freely edit pins/threads between fights means people will probably be moving the katana around and mapping things out per fight. There's enough time save to go down to under 10 minutes I feel. Quick notes below.
Party Setup - Thanks to the comment on my AD Sho vid for pointing out that Resonance GN is more damage overall than individual attack boosters. Due to this putting Nagi back in for beatdrop bonuses is viable. Sho might still be safer as he has access to HP IV pants that Nagi doesn't. That being said the damage ranking is now Neku, Beat, Fret (Attack I pants), everyone else.
00:00 - Boss 1
Ideally you finish just under 14 seconds. You need to RNG a freeze to delay it climbing up 104 otherwise you lose 20+ seconds right away. That's pretty much a reset as this is the first fight.
00:34 - Boss 2
There's a lot of RNG on this and the next boss due to having to burn the adds down. You want to kill Fuya first otherwise he triggers another cutscene.
01:21 - Boss 3
Matoi will always get the textbox spam out but you can easily kill before the kickstarter. These two fights may be the ones you use an alternate pin set on as the Black Cat set has really weak AoE. You should hit 300% Groove here, if you could get to 300% on Fuya then it might be worth burning the first Killer Remix on this fight.
02:18 - Boss 4
This fight was really bad. Ideally you want to either proc 2 freezes which gives you enough time to completely skip his cutscene. Otherwise you want him to RNG white antlers as black is worse (can't spam him down without getting hit).
03:04 - Boss 5
If you can kill the big Mr. Mew fast enough the gigantic one won't start charging the laser and you don't need to hit it to cancel it. Hitting the gigantic one drops the HP below the threshhold for the 2nd downtime phase which leaves no window after the last set of Mr Mews spawning. You can easily skip it if it doesn't immediately go into the downtime.
04:42 - Boss 6
I got this really weird stunlock with Killer Remix, but if you fail that just get captured and burn the boss. If you're using Killer Remix here do it immediately after your first L1/R1 release as she'll immediately do the blind AoE from taking so much damage.
05:33 - Boss 7
You cannot skip the execution attack, Ayano cannot die until she does it. She also resets your Groove to 0% during the execution attack. Groove planning is going to revolve around this. You can fit in 2 Killer Remixes before this point but the timing for it is weird as Black Cat doesn't generate a lot of groove.
06:37 - Boss 8
I don't think Black Cat has a good way to just stunlock Sho but you can melt him pretty fast anyways. Had a sloppy end for this fight.
08:22 - Boss 9
Nothing notable, just build groove.
09:49 - Boss 10
P1 - You can't stunlock Shiba from 100-0 from the first hit as he'll start to null damage. But he dies really fast anyways. This is your last real chance to build groove.
P2 - I got lucky and generated enough groove off Sho/Shiba P1 and was able to go into a Killer Remix to skip both add phases. This is a really slow fight otherwise.
11:40 - Boss 11
My phoenix fight was awful, P1 had a slow tail and I took a lot of damage in stupid ways. The tails feel kind of RNG but I really don't have this mapped out as FTT Phoenix behaves differently than regular Phoenix. There's no freebie phase to build up groove either so there's a real chance of dying. Killer Remix P1 skips aren't really possible as you save far more time burning it on Shiba.
