Here am running adventure island 2 on snes via nested emulator, it runs pretty well but it can tent to slow down when there’re many sprites on screen but other then that it runs fine,

It’s possible that the mmc3 chip aside from the nes cpu is also emulated with the snes cpu(wich i doubt) or the mmc3 chip is emulated via the snes ppu chip,

It could be that bankswitching is done by,1,expanding 4KB,8KB of banks etc,, is expanded to 32KB or ,
2,banks of 4KB,8KB etc,, are combined together as 1 32KB bank,or
3,those 4KB,8KB etc,,,banks are copied to fill in the entire 32KB bank wich the snes then executes one after another at different parts(let’s say 1st part of bank 1 and 2th part of bank 2 etc,, to work it’s way out,

Now what’s really cool is that nested V1.3 also supports stereo to enjoy nes games the way the nes sounds internally,
Also since the snes runs out of wram memory, it somehow does need srm file to serve as extra ram to prevent running out of space but am not completely sure.
