I live stream 8-bit Nintendo games on original hardware at least once a week, usually WedNESdays from 10–11 p.m. Eastern, and I sometimes play other games on Friday nights or whenever the mood strikes and I have time.

MINI-REVIEW: This is another one of those cases where a game sounds amazing on paper, but the actual execution leaves a lot to be desired. It features decent sprites, okay music, and interesting ideas, but this game is a miserable mess--punishingly hard and intentionally frustrating. Being transported with no warning to hidden pocket dimensions with confusing mazes that encompass hundreds of screens... attacking you with a swarm of different creatures that often take dozens of hits... stingy power-ups and weak weapons... No thanks.
