Things to note.

Although I have worked on my own custom version of Metroid II in the past. This is NOT my version of it. I still have my version on my other computer, in limbo. I showcase the definitive version that I have found, that truly showcases how well colorization could be done!

Do not attempt to get "too drastic" with editing. Do a few here and there, and write the rom, then test it out. You will find there is a chance of game breaking bugs. It is still fun messing about, however! Many games can be done this way!

You may get mixed results, graphically, depending on which emulator you use. So, be it Mini NES, or PC, or Android. You will see minute to drastic differences...sometimes garbled graphics.
