Nethack- Junethack Tournament! - Adventures and Misadventures in the Gnomish Mines with KNIGHT!
0Wild Nethack misadventure with Ishmokin the Knight! Survived to dip for Excalibur at Delphi, shoplifted a Shield of Reflection via Roach, my horse. Delved into Gnomish Mines, hit Mine Town, but no pickaxe! Fell down a shaft to Mine's End, looted +2 Dwarven helm and mithril coat, still no pickaxe to mine the luckstone. Got trapped by a hole, stepped on a polymorph trap—Roach turned python, I became a grey ooze, bursting my armor! Used booze + teleport scroll to levelport, found stairs, and mined the luckstone. But a nymph stole Excalibur! Fought soldiers and beasts with a short sword, spamming Elbereth and prayers to Lugh to survive. Abandoned Excalibur, regrouped in Minetown, switched to an Elven Short Sword, mined Vaults for gold, and tackled Sokoban for a Bag of Holding. Found rings of Polymorph and Control, morphed into a Master Mindflayer, reclaimed Excalibur, and cleared Sokoban’s zoo. But polymorph abuse dropped me from XP 10 to 3, with 27 HP!
