Run is going good, AoR, BoH, Cloak of MR. But was sorely lacking holy water, had to kill a priest in a temple in the main dungeon. First tried to block the priest off via boulders from scroll of earth, but the priest then started destroying the boulders. Apparently that tech was nerfed in 3.7 (boo! not a fan of this ). So I had polymorph him instead. It worked with 1 zap, turning him into a flesh golem. Then I proceed to destroy it via stabbing with my +5 unicorn horn.

Then was able to finally convert the altar then finally make holy water! Blessed the Bag of holding , relieving me of the heavy burden literally! Can now proceed unburdened. Blessed the unihorn, the luckstone, my ID scrolls, and enchant weapon scrolls.

Then later in the run, I encountered a Yellow Dragon, killed it, and left its scales. After much consideration, I decided to use my lone enchant armor scroll to enchant the yellow scales and turn it into yellow dragon scale mail. 3 benefits, I get to upgrade and use stronger armor than the mithril I had used, plus it allows me to cast spells better. I no longer need to remove metallic armor to cast spells better. And its abilities, the anti-stoning and anti-acid is nice side benefit of the yellow scale mail. I do plan to replace this with silver dragon scale mail, but as they say, its wiser to make use of your resources now than wait for a stronger one in the future. But that future may never come because you can easily die in this game lol. NOW is what matters most.

As went deeper, I ran into mrore altars, this time vacant, so I was able to convert them and got gifted Magicbane!!!

I went down further and finally reached Medusa's Island. Used my ring of levitation and crossed the water to reach where Medusa. When i saw her, her gaze got reflected by my AoR and she got stoned, right on the same spot where Persues's statue is.

Then I go down, its the Castle! I scout via Telepathy, I see around 3 Ls. I decided not to attack the castle yet, because Im already XP 14, and decided to head towards the Quest level and get the Staff of A ( too hard to spell lol)
