238This is a review of Neurovoider for the Nintendo Switch by 8-Bit Eric. Is this a good game for the Switch? NeuroVoider has been on PC for over a year now, it slowly made its way to other platforms and now to the Switch. It is a twin stick shooter that’s set in a futuristic setting and according to the developer flying oak games is about brains shooting around evil robots with nuclear rocket launchers. NeuroVoider doesn’t explain much when it comes to story besides you are a brain and you have finally been freed of your prison in a test tube. After breaking out another robot appears and tries to help you understand controls. 3 different types: Dasher, Rampage, and Fortress. Dash has a dash button, Rampage will use the bulk of your energy to use both your weapons at once rapidly and Fortress can create a shield. When you start a run you have the option of picking 3 paths with a meter for Size, Elites, and Loot. Size is how big the area to explore will be, Elites are the number of the large enemies that pack a ton of punch, and Loot is how much loot you will find in that area. Your mech is outfitted with two weapons at a time, The twin-stick battle system is smooth and precise. The left joystick controls the movement of your mech and the right joystick controls the direction that your weapons will fire in. Each one being assigned to a left or right shoulder button.
