Surprise! Lol. So this could very well end up being my last video of 2020, unless I happen to get lucky and get to squeeze in a bit more commentary recording. Anyhoo, this is the first of several World of Warships performance review type videos that I have lined up (I have at least 4 more but need to record commentary for those). I thought I'd kick things off with one of my better matches. Okay... truth be told this was actually pretty much guaranteed to be my best performance ever. I'm very surprised how it turned out, all things considered.

This review is intended to highlight the importance of not giving up when things get rough, and things did get pretty tight at one point. Particularly with the Bismarck on my team falling out of action. Never did figure out what exactly happened to them but they ended up not contributing to the fight, and I really could have done with them supporting me. Even so, I kept on slugging away and managed to turn the tables, enough so to secure a victory. Nothing decisive but a win is a win.

Shoutout to MadMike in the Arpeggio Takao who kept 3 Battleships distracted. That really made a huge difference. First the enemy Izumo got itself stuck trying to target the Takao, leaving it vulnerable to me. Then the Lion as well, that ignored me when it really shouldn't have, and the enemy Bismarck remained distracted for a long time too. Now that's the kind of team work I like to see in WoWs. Too many players are lone wolves in a team game. Guys: there's no I in Team. These aren't "your" kills. They're the team's kills. Stop thinking about yourself only and start thinking about your team, or you'll just screw everyone over. If you can't work in a team, stop playing team games. You're just letting everyone down.

Oh yeah, and sorry about the change in audio quality between the intro and the footage. I wasn't able to get my usual mic set up for that due to various issues, so I had to use my headset mic instead. I'll see if I can work out a fix that'll let me use the Seiren X again for the next videos.
