Never To Late To Learn Piano! Jam Session With Old Pianist | Cole Lam 15 Years Old
890I loved this one here when I was at London St Pancras Train Station on the Elton John public piano, and a lady asked if the gentleman could play the piano. He sat down and took out a book with classical pieces and started to play Clair de Lune. As he was using a book, he needed a page turner, and well, I could do it! I have actually been learning Clair de Lune myself, but doing it by ear. At the time of the video, I had not learnt it fully yet - about half way - and it was great to be able to play it with the gentleman and then also, as my dad challenged me - to play it by ear live! Patchubun started the clapping and I had to do it!
Afterwards, the gentleman played another classic - Gershwin Summertime - which I was able to play as well, again another one that I have not really learnt but heard enough times to know roughly how it plays. But the surprise of the day was there were two tourists from New York who subscribed to me! Of course, that meant playing - New York New York by Frank Sinatra!
