17Vehicle design work has evolved a lot in recent decades. If designers have replaced pencils with 3D modeling , engineers test future models long before the first physical prototypes are created. But how? Thanks to the CAVE ( Cave Automatic Virtual Environment ), a virtual reality system that allows you to move around and inside the vehicle during the design phase. At the Titu Technical Center, in southern Romania, the Dacia teams experienced this full immersion.
