New Audi A5 Plug In Hybrid is Faster Than You Think!
The Audi A5 Plug-In Hybrid is finally here with up to 72 miles of electric range and performance that rivals the V-6-powered S5. Is this the best of both worlds?
Audi is stepping into the future by replacing the A4 with a new plug-in hybrid version of the A5. Available in both sedan and wagon body styles, the A5 e-hybrid blends the efficiency of a 25.9 kilowatt-hour battery with a turbocharged 2.0-liter gasoline engine. You can choose between two versions: a base model with 295 horsepower or a more powerful version with 362 horsepower, matching the V-6-powered S5. The A5 e-hybrid offers an electric-only range of 72.1 miles and a top speed of 87 miles per hour in EV mode, making it perfect for daily commutes or weekend getaways. With an 11 kilowatt onboard charger, it can be fully charged in just 2.5 hours. In this video, we break down everything you need to know about the Audi A5 e-hybrid lineup and what could be coming next with a rumored RS4 plug-in hybrid.
