New Balance Changes! | Dynasties of India Patch
We've got some pretty exciting new balance changes coming! Remember, you do not need to own the expansion to have these changes apply!
Below is my unofficial list of all the changes I could find. Again, these changes 100% exist - the list just might not be exhaustive:
General:
-Watch Towers now have 850hp in Dark/Feudal Age (from 700hp). They still have 1020hp upon reaching Castle Age
-Camels now have 5 LoS (was 4)
-Heavy Scorpions now have 0/8 armor (was 0/7)
Berbers:
-Genitour cost reduced to 40f, 35w (was 50f, 35w)
Bohemians:
-Building discount no longer applies to Monasteries (only Blacksmiths and Universities)
-Houfnice base attack reduced to 50 (was 55)
-Houfnice blast radius reduced to 0.8 (was 0.85)
Burmese:
-New civ bonus - Battle Elephants gain +1/+1 armor
-Howdah Unique Tech now only gives +1/+1 armor (was +1/+2)
-Manipur Cavalry cost reduced to 400f, 400g (was 650f, 400g)
-Arambai now train in 18s (was 21s)
Cumans:
-Cuman Mercenaries Unique Tech now allows 5 free Elite Kipchaks per Castle, instead of a flat 10 free Elite Kipchaks
Incas:
-Team Bonus now “Spearmen and Skirmishers gain +2 LoS” instead of “Farms built +100% faster”
Khmer:
-Ballista Elephant now has an attack of 10 (was 8)
-Elite Ballista Elephant now has an attack of 11 (was 9)
Portuguese:
-Feitoria’s wood and gold generation rates were swapped now Feitoria produces (42w/min, 96f/min, 60g/min, 18s/m) instead of (60w/min, 96f/min, 42g/min, 18s/m)
Saracens:
-Madrasah Unique Tech removed
-Zealotry moved to Castle Age
-New Imperial Age Unique Tech: Counterweights (Trebuchets and -Mangonels gain +15% attack) (Costs 650f, 500g)
-Mameluke no longer has the “archer” armor class (no longer takes bonus damage from units such as Skirmishers)
Sicilians:
Dark/Feudal Age Donjons now have 1250hp (was 1000)
Hauberk Unique Tech now costs 700f, 600g (was 500f, 400g)
Slavs:
Orthodoxy Unique Tech removed
New Castle Age Unique Tech: Detinets (Castles and Towers have 40% of their stone cost converted to wood)
Towers now cost 100w, 75s (instead of 50w, 125s)
Castles now cost 260w, 390s (instead of 650s)
Tatars:
Flaming Camel now gains +200 damage vs buildings and +25 damage to siege weapons
Vietnamese:
Paper Money Unique Tech effect changed to: Lumberjacks automatically generate a tiny trickle of gold
Paper Money cost now 600w, 350g (was 500f, 300w)
